trace: a mark or line left by something that has passed…

Image Tracer is a collaborative work with De Geuzen. In this project we add the temporal dimension to the otherwise somewhat flat, somewhat momentary and memoryless character of internet content. Juxtaposing the results of repeated searches delineates the dynamics of stagnation and change of the online image.
