A mosaic of results
Frames of Reference is a different approach to visualizing search engine results.

The user types in a query, and the desired number of frames. The result is a mosaic of frames which contains the first 16 pages (or any other number the user wishes) that correspond to the first 16 results of the Google search engine.

This provides the user with a quick overview of networked environment in which its query lives. The different frames layout builds different aesthetical categories that provide a different understanding of the query's networked life.
